I confirmed that the noise was not the drain pump (noise stopped when motor cycle stopped but dishwasher drain pump was still on). I replaced the entire pump and motor unit. It was cheaper than just replacing the motor! I followed the AppliancePartsPros video. It was extremely helpful! My model was not identical to the video but very similar. The step-by-step video made the whole repair a breeze.
