I replaced the coils and sensor. It now works again. It took about an hour, but some of that time was spent vacuuming out accumulated lint and dust. My dryer had a convenient bottom access panel for simpler access to the works. The available videos were very helpful.
The repair was much cheaper and faster than purchasing a new machine!
