I got a new motor and while disassembling the dryer to install the new motor I successfully broke the old blower wheel. (It was brittle). The new one arrived quickly and I was able to reassemble everything and the dryer is now running like new. My biggest obstacle was my lack of confidence. Looking back I realize that the repair was easier than I imagined it would be.
