The baking (bottom) element was not heating but the broil element was working fine. After a little bit of "process of elimination", I ordered a new baking element for my Frigidaire Pro Series oven (about 13 or 14 years old). Let's just say it took longer to slide out the range and clean where it was than to actually replace the element. Literally, 2 Philips screws to remove the element (for precautions, I shut down the breaker and unplugged the oven itself. 220v is not very forgiving!). I cleaned off the wire terminals, slid the new element in place and reversed the steps for removal. Two minutes later, I had a functioning baking element, which I've used several times since the repair!
