The igniter is easily accessible from the back. Just loosen the igniter from its mount and pull on the wires a little to find the right ones. I loosened one lead and tested the resistance. The ohmmeter showed an open circuit. A very easy repair.
NOTE: Remember that you will have to snake the leads through the insulation when you install the new igniter. Don't pull out the old igniter until you have attached a string or something to the wires, so you can pull the new wires through. The job is very easy if you remember to do this.
