New, cause I wasn't familiar with part and it's mode of failure. Can't really be disassembled to clean the contacts. So when this comes up in another 2 years Caig Dexoit will be the 2 squirt fix instead of a 110$ part. Surprised it wasn't a sealed assembly to keep contaminants off the delicate sensing contacts. If I had my work around schematic captured I'd post a link to a DIY parts laying around in the garage solution.
