Googled what could be the cause, and it could be one of 4 things. Followed Utube video to take apart dryer, to discover damaged drum bearing. Replaced part(s) for under $50. Saved more than $300 doing it myself. I’m a 62yr old woman, own 2 screw drivers, and a hammer, and happened to locate them in a seldom used junk drawer. Easy repair. Even for me.
