I went to u-tube to see how the repair was made. They took the whole front of the washing machine off. I found this disassembly unnecessary. Just by tipping the machine over, the drain hose became accessible for repair. It only took a few minutes to do. I did find that the part I needed was much less expensive at ApplianceParts, $25.00 vs $45.00, than my local Sears store. I now have ApplinceParts bookmarked on my computer for any future need.
