I replaced the right side end cap. It took about 15 minutes - including the time to unload and reload a small part of the food contents. The only tool required was a .25 inch nut driver. Simply remove the old end cap by carefully pulling it away from the side wall. It has a piece attached to it that runs across the back wall of the refrigerator. By carefully rotating the whole assembly outward around the back wall center point of attachment, it all came out easily. Once out, you can then remove parts from the old end cap and install them on the replacement end cap. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Very easy if you just think through where points of attachment exist and don't force anything.
