Remove back panel of oven take off side panel (which ever side is broke) this is held on by 2 screws after removing back panel. Then there is another panel to remove held on by 1 screw then just take out the screws on the hinge and slide it out. put in new hinge and put back together in reverse order. just make sure to unplug the power before working on any appliance this repair was for a Magic Chef Electric oven model 3862XVA. It took about 1/2 hour to repair
