The oven door must be completely removed from the base oven before the repair can be done. The only caveat in to mark the inner dual pane assembly left and right before disassembly as this part is symmetrical and can be reversed on reassembly. This may lead to screw hole misalignment issues when larger door parts are reattached leading to confusion and frustration. Minor Dremel burring of the glass corners (one mm) was necessary for proper fit.
