Our local makerspace hosts a repair event once a month where community members can bring in *anything* broken. We'll fix it free but accept donations.
This month a woman brought in a KSM5 mixer. The motor ran but nothing moved. It was the worm gear. These mixers can be hard to disassemble but I had done several before. The reassembly happens next month.
