Really simple fix... twisted out the old burner, pulled the electrical leads off and moved them to the new burner one at a time, replaced the new burner, and twisted it back firmly in place. The burner fired off right away, burned unevenly for about 15 seconds and then settled down to a nice even, blue flame. I received the part within 1-1/2 days of ordering it and paid less, including shipping, than the local appliance shop wanted for the same part... and they said it would be 3-5 days before they'd have it for me. I've gone to APP for repair videos and parts for my stove, washer, dryer, refrigerator, and dishwasher. I couldn't be happier with their resources and services, and I've saved a ton of money by doing my own repairs. I just wish I could order auto parts from these guys!
