I ordered the infinite switch control from Appliance Parts Pro on a Wednesday afternoon and it arrived well packaged the next day even though I selected standard shipping. Thank you for the easy ordering and fast delivery!
Replacing the old switch was easy:
1. Disconnect the power to the stove
2. Make sure the power is off to the stove
3. Pull 4 burner control knobs off and remove 4 large nuts attached to the 4 burner switches
4. Lift the face plate off and clean previously hidden cooking spills
5. Remove 4 screws with a nut driver to lift the control panel
6. Remove 2 screws with a screwdriver at the affected switch
7. Remove 5 wires, 1 at a time, from the old switch with pliers and connect to the new switch as you go to avoid getting them on the wrong terminals
Replace everything in reverse order and be sure not to pinch any wiring or over tighten anything.
Restore power to the stove and verify that it works as expected.
