Disconnected the water lines and unplugged the washer. Tilted the machine on its front side 3/4 of the way as machine still retains some water even after drain. From bottom of the machine I used an allen wrench to remove screw in center of shroud and remove plastic shroud containing the magnets along its sides thar drives the motor. Then using a 3/8 socket i removed the 4 bolts holding the retaining plate holding the magneto ring. I used a small plastic garbage can side to rest the magneto ring while I disconnected the RPS sensor. The RPS sensor has 2 end tabs that fit into the magneto ring. Use a thin small screwdriver to pop the tabs from the ring. Remove the plug in wire by depressing a small tab on the plug-in. Now the last thing is to remove the wire harness from the RPS sensor. Use a needle nose plier to depress the pushin button and push it through for wire removal from sensor. Now connect wiring to the new RPS sensor. Push harness button onto new sensor and plug in. Line up the sensor on the magneto where the end tabs will snap back into place. Then remount the magneto ring and retaining center plate with the 4 bolts. Then mount the plastic shroud with the allen center screw. No need to overtighten.. Stand machine back upright. Open top lid. Ensure the drum is in place by placing hands on inside edge of drum and pull upward. This should reseat the drum into place. Hook up the water lines and plug in power and should be good to go. Hope this helps..
