This new Actuator Switch Kit should take care of the problem for good. The original was pretty flimsy. Installation was not difficult but you do need to pay close attention to drilling the mounting holes correctly. On reviewer said his compactor did not completely cycle with this switch. Mine does. Once the cycle starts it ran down to compact and then up so the drawer can be opened. Just like before.
