Initially (from the favorable repair experience of other Appliance Parts Pros' customers), I purchased and installed a new Compressor Run Capacitor; although (while installing it), I observed that the adjacent coil cooling fan was restricted in rotation to the degree that it failed to run when the compressor started. And, while awaiting the fan motor that I then ordered, I again experienced a complete lack of cooling. All of which has been resolved upon my receipt (the day after I ordered, with standard shipping) and installation of the fan motor. So, although I perceive the capacitor ($40) to have been superfluous, the fan motor ($160) has restored the function of my 25-year-old (standby) refrigerator as has Appliance Parts Pros' parts previously restored the function of my dishwasher, stovetop, microwave and washer.
