Mouse was stuck between condenser fan blades causing the motor to stall and bending fan blades. Removed Mickey and parts from beneath frig and ordered Condenser Motor Kit from Appliance Parts. Motor Kit delivery was done in a timely matter and I then watched the video provided on the website. Repair was quick and easy saving me hundred of dollars on parts and labor.
The local repair shop advised me that a service tech would cost 85.00 to come out and diagnose the problem and the parts would be an additional. Knowing that most HVAC or electrical parts are marked up at least 100 percent, I told them to get lost.
There should be more companies like Appliance Parts Pros for those of us that have a minimum amount of skills.
