Richard S Fremont , MI March 02, 2025 Control panel had missing portions on display also some numbers did not display anything I ordered and installed a new control panel. I used nitrile gloves while handling the control panels. But still easly I did not touch the circuit board. I turned off the circuit breaker and unplugged the stove power cord. Removed the upper sheet metal on the back of the stove. Then took some photos of the back side of the control panel before removing it from the stove. The photos were for showing wire connections, locations and color order of wires before removing them by their connectors. Then I removed the control panel, installed the new panel and reconnected the wiring to the new panel. I verified the wire locations with the photos I took of the bad control panel. Sheet metal was then re-installed. The stove and location was then cleaned. The power cord plugged in and the stove put back in its place. The circuit breaker was turned back on. The clock was then set and I checked how well the new control worked. 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
