Ordered replacement part from AppliancePartsPros.com. Removed retaining pin from old control knob with a small flat-head screwdriver, removed old control knob, partially installed new retaining pin onto the new control knob, put the new control knob in place and slid the retaining pin fully into place by using the screw driver.
