I visited Appliance Pros website and indicated the problem we were having etc. Found the suspected part (heating element), went on YouTube and found out how to remove the part from the oven and test it with a multi-meter. Keep in mind I have never used a multi-meter before or made repairs to an oven before. However, I have used Appliance Pros before to fix a refrigerator problem just a month earlier and after watching their video it was a very easy repair. Anyway, I tested the old convection element and it failed the multi-meter test. I ordered the part on-line on Monday mid-morning and received the part the very next day early afternoon. That same day, I installed the part in about 15 minutes and it worked without a glitch.
As I mentioned, this was the 2nd time I have used Appliance Pros and I am extremely satisfied with their service. Not all their parts have videos on their site but you can easily visit YouTube and find the appropriate video for your particular repair.
I should mention that I am far from being the handy-man type but now I feel very comfortable using Appliance Pros parts, instructions, videos and I'm ready to tackle our next appliance problem (hopefully I don't get any though). By using Appliance Pros and doing the work myself I saved over $100.00, gained some repair experience and have a new multi-meter which I bought for $15.
I highly recommend using Appliance Pros.
Good luck with your project!
