I shut off the breaker, removed the knob and removed the two screws holding down the cooktop from under the cabinet. I removed the cooktop and flipped it over. I removed the screws holding the cover plate. I unscrewed the two screws holding the switch but cold have done that before flipping the cooktop. Make sure you move the wires one at a time. Both switches are clearly labeled but I would have lost track of which wire was which. One of the wires does have an extra tab on it for the 6th wire so don’t be alarmed. Reverse the process and you are done. It really was a straight forward repair.
