We own a 10 year old KithcenAide dishwasher and we were fairly certain that the rinse dispenser wasn't working. Since the replacement part did not resemble the dispenser assembly in our unit - the replacement had one door, ours had two - I did some research to be sure the replacement part was correct. It was. The manufacturer website confirmed it. I watched the video which was very helpful in describing the replacement process. Of note, our unit has 12 screws holding on the front cover. It is VERY helpful to have a second set of hands when removing the front cover. The electronic control unit at the top of our door comes loose when the front cover is removed. We taped it in place while doing the repair. The removal and installation process was very similar to the video. Getting the front cover back in place took a few tries. We tested the new unit and it worked fine. The door covering the detergent does not fully open in our model; it hits the upper rack of the dishwasher. But it does not appear to be an issue with dispensing or cleaning of our dishes.
