The dh code came back after power was removed every time.
I checked the voltage going to the heating element at the main control board after setting it to test the defrost system and had 118 volts ac
I had either a bad heating element and/or the defrost element fuse/temperature sensor
I ordered the fuse/sensor before taking apart the freezer to try
I found that it was ok and at the same time checked the heater element and found it bad
Put the freezer back together and ordered the defrost element
Installed both the element and fuse/sensor and all is well with no faults
Because your quick shipping of parts is why I tried the fuse/sensor first
