Brian P Vacaville , CA August 18, 2015 Dishwasher circulation motor Our dishwasher was making a very loud noise during the wash cycle. I searched online for possible causes and concluded it was the circulation pump. I watched the video first and decided it was something I could change out myself and so I ordered the part based on the serial number. It arrived the very next day as promised and I followed the steps in the video. It was easy to install and problem solved. The time estimate to fix was two hours and I would be surprised if it took me 30 minutes and I am far from mechanically inclined. We live in a rural area and all of our appliances are Kitchen Aid, Viking, etc. and accordingly even basic diagnostic service calls involve a $150 technician travel fee. This is the third appliance I have now repaired myself thanks to Appliance Parts Pros. I would estimate I have saved at least $750.00 by doing these repairs myself. I would recommend watching the video first though to see if you think you can do the repair yourself. Also worth noting, you can return the part if you can't install it or keep it for an appliance technician to install. Either way, I will net you will end up saving money and time. My cracked interior oven door glass is next! Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
