Our GE dishwasher was suffering from a poorly designed plastic filter that was peeling up on the sides, causing chunks of food and debris to get pumped through the dishwasher, clogging the holes in the spray arms in the process. After a few weeks of tweezing junk out of the spray arms, I was pleased to learn that this metal replacement filter would fit in our model.
