Replaced the control panel. You can do this by just taking off the the old control panel, but it's easier if you take off the whole front panel also (cordless drill w/torx bit to remove screws).
Turn off power to dishwasher. Then you just unplug the control board, remove latch & handle from old panel & put these into new panel. Screw panels back on & power up.
Dishwasher is working like new.
