Did some research on the Net and found AppliancePartsPros,com and was impressed by their 365 day return policy. Ordered the latch part and replaced it. Reseated the system board cables. Dish washer began working but display froze again after two washes. I concluded it must be the system board so ordered a system board. It arrived but its replacement did not fix the issue. I was at a dead end so called the AppliancePartsPros help line and selected tech support. Found Mark who listened to my story patiently then began walking me through a check list of things to check. Even suggested to get my volt meter and walked me through removing and testing the micro switches in the latch. One of the switches did not pan out. So it had been this defective micro switch all this time. Absolutely outstanding service and support from Mark and from ApplianceParts Pros on the whole.
