I hated to call a repair Guy, because by the time it takes them to do the service call and then order the part, then schedule another appointment. It would be at least two weeks. I figured I would just buy a new Dishwasher and have it delivered the next day. That was before I saw the price of a new dishwasher. I looked on line and found Appliance Parts Pros, saw the you tube video figured a trained monkey could do this change out on the motor assembly, so why can't I. I ordered the complete motor assembly on Monday it arrived the next day. I installed it the following day. It took about two and a half hours a little longer than in the video but I cleaned and vacuumed I took before and after pictures and ran a cycle to check for leaks. I did not need any special tools. If you have the skill to replace your cars alternator you can do this job. Just have plenty of dry towels on hand. Take some before pictures Because my dishwasher had a few extra flashings and guards that created a problem getting the assembly out of the hole.They needed to be reinstalled on the new assembly, the pictures helped.
