Jack D Prairieville , LA June 26, 2015 Dishwasher was loud while it was operating (like you were pumping gravel) First I checked the pump for contaminates and only found small insignificant pieces of trash, not enough for this noise. I then took the bottom plate off of the front of the dishwasher and identified the noise coming from the motor. Pulled out the dishwasher and removed the motor. Once the motor was out and you spun the shaft it was obvious that the shaft bearings were bad. Ordered a new motor/pump assembly and in 2 days it was there.
