He said it was probably the discharge circulation pump but wasn't sure. He wrapped some tape on the water and discharge hoses and said just use it.
I went to the APP website and searched for question and answers. One story was thumping noise and water not emptying out of the bottom. Your answer was intake water valve. We did't use the dishwater for several days when we open the door the basin was full of water.
