I ordered the soft-touch Control Panel Assembly.
The inner door frame screws needed to be removed along the top and right side; the left side was only loosened to allow separation of the door. The panel sits in slots and is snapped into place. Tilting the panel back and depressing a plastic clip allows for removal. A cable is still attached to the assembly. It can be separated at the panel or further back at the control board. I suggest separating the ribbon cable since it is more accessible. Once attached to the new panel, the assembly snaps back into position. Re-attaching all the panel screws is the last step.
