We ordered the Door Boot Gasket and for our model washer it was easier to take the front panel off and we also had to remove the weights from the barrel of the washer. It took a few trys to get the boot gasket seal around the drum. It's a tight fit, which I'm sure is good for when you use the washer, but made it a little difficult to install. Then installed the metal ring over the rubber gasket. After getting the bigger part onto the washing machine drum, we put the weights back on the drum and then replaced the front panel and door. At that point, we needed to put the seal over the outer area. That also took a few trys to snap it in where it needed to be and then put the metal ring around it to hold it in. It took about an hour total. Definitely worth the money we saved having it installed by a repair technician! It works great and no more leaks.
