I followed the steps to remove the top panel and then the control board. I didn't feel like testing each switch with a multimeter so I replaced all three on my unit. The microwave is now back in working order. The hardest part for me was removing the old switches from their plastic mounting pieces - those things were really held in place. I would have saved myself 20-30 minutes by getting new ones.
