I bought a new pump. The video on your website was very helpful for the swap.
When I took the hoses off the old one I discovered a sock in the pump inlet.
I plugged the old pump back in and it still works, but since I had the new pump I went ahead and installed it.
The drum still had water in it, so I took the washer out on the porch and laid it on its left side so the drain pipe was on top. This way I didn't get a flood of water in the utility room floor. I have a hand truck and ratchet strap, which made the move easy.
