I looked up the problem on AppliancePartsPros based on past experience with a washer repair. I quickly found the solution, watched the repair video and ordered the dryer latch kit. When the kit arrived, the installation was simple and now the dryer door is staying closed during the dry cycle as it should.
I ordered the kit Monday morning and it was in FedEx's hands by that same evening. Unfortunately, FedEx was a bit slow to deliver (Thursday instead of Tuesday as expected from NJ to MD), but that is purely FedEx's fault. I'm satisfied, repeat AppliancePartsPros customer!
