I tried rotating the drum by hand and it would not rotate at first, however when I tried turning it in the opposite direction it turned but was hard to turn. It then started however it was noisy. I assumed that one or more of the drum support rollers had seized up. So I ordered 4 new rollers and a new belt. Taking the dryer apart when I received the parts was very easy following the repair video. However, I found a sock jammed in the dryer blower housing. Once the sock was removed the dryer drum rotated freely. Now I wish, I had opened the dryer to confirm my suspicion about the drum support rollers.
