My Amana Dryer would intermittently smell of gas.
I removed the cover and cleaned well.
I think that helped, but still faintly smelled gas on occasion.
Ordered and replaced the igniter and gas valve coil kit.
No longer smell gas...
BTW... The parts arrived next day, even though I used std shpg.
