I ordered the dryer heating element kit because the no heat problem was most likely one of two things - either a bad heating element or bad thermostat high-limit sensor, both of which came as a less expensive alternative to buying just the thermostat high-limit sensor. It was fairly easy to fix by popping open the dryer top, which was hinged. After replacing both the heating element and the thermostat high-limit sensor and buttoning it up, the dryer worked fine and dryer heat was restored.
