After google searching the issues, I found a youtube video from AppliancePartsPros.com that explain the issue being a door switch. Found the switch on my unit and verified it was not functioning correctly. From the video, I had an idea of how to install the switch. I ordered the suggested part from AppliancePartsPros.com and installed it following the steps in the video, and the issue has been resolved.
