I had already removed the terminal block with a nut driver previously to see what had gone wrong. This required turning off the electricity at the Master Control Box and removing the metal clip that attached to the cook top element. It was obviously damaged, so I used a small screw driver to release the old terminal clips to the cook top element. From that it was easy to identify the parts I needed for repair. I was pleased that my order was at my door step within just few days.
The rest went quickly. I turned off the electricity at the Master Control Box, slid the stove away from the wall, and disconnected the floor pug (just in case). With directions in hand from Appliance Parts Pros, I reconnected the new parts in a matter of minutes. They were a perfect match. Everything is back together and functioning perfectly.
