1. Shut off power at the breaker box.
2. Removed 4 screws holding the element.
3. Unscrewed the 2 electrical conductors from the element.
4. Reconnected the 2 electrical conductors to the new broiler element.
5. Replaced the 4 screws that hold the element in place at the top of the oven.
6. Cleaned up.
7. Turned breaker to "on."
8. Tested the new burner and found all things to be normal again.
