Christopher K Bethesda , MD November 29, 2014 Appliance: Model JHP56OVAAD Two electric burners would not heat at all I replaced one terminal block assembly for each burner that would not function. There was no video on the site to follow, but the replacement was fairly intuitive. After turning the stove circuit breaker off, the old assemblies were easily removed by unscrewing each bracket screw with a philips screwdriver. The clip that holds the insulating paper needed to be removed to reveal the two philip screws that hold the contact leads for each block assembly. Once the leads were removed, it was a simple matter to attach them to the new assembly block, put in place the new insulating paper by using the clip to hold the insulating papers in place, and reattaching the bracket to the stove top. The instructions provided with the assembly blocks were cryptic but sufficient. 5 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
