Traced water leak to front of Electrolux washer water pump. Went online to get parts diagrams for the washer which was very helpful and found online videos as additional resource. Unfortunately our washer does not have a front access panel so.... had to remove top, front control panel and then front panel. Not particularly difficult. Removing the "boot" between the tub unit and front panel held on by a circular spring was done with two needle nose pliers. Found leaking water pump. Easily removed & replaced. Also removed the drain tubing from drum to pump to access strainer. Found items in the strainer and cleaned them out. Looks like smaller objects got through and chewed up the water pump. Reassembly was just a reverse process. Ordered part on Friday. Arrived on Saturday via Fed-X. Part matched perfectly. Back doing laundry Saturday evening and we are very happy.
