Per the Samsung shop manual, I replaced the drain pump first. Then it seemed like maybe the check-valve might be the issue. As it turns out there was a quarter stuck in the 90 degree elbow on the drain line. Once the quarter was removed the darn door switch assembly failed. Lot's of luck huh? Anyway, after replacing the door lock mechanism it's back working as designed. The wire retaining ring that holds the rubber boot in place is a bit of a trick to re-install. Took me 10 tries the first time and about an hour. Now I can replace it in 2 minutes.
