After researching on internet for my Samsung washer. Most folks problem seemed to have come from spider having eroded away. I order new parts for this change out. Couldn't get to the machine for a couple of weeks to do repairs. After disassembly Spider appeared to be OK but it was full of scale and also a lot of loose scale in the void. I guessed about 3 pound of scale some loose and a lot attached to Spider. I decided to change the Spider as the machine is about 10 years old. Probably wouldn't have had to but did it anyway. Ordering parts worked great. videos were real helpful. Bad water would most likely have been the problem.
