I noticed alot of lint had entered the bottom of the lint filter because the lint filter was cracked and warped. So i ordered a GE replacement filter for my GE dryer. Initially I just wanted to replace the lint filter, but after watching "how to videos" I took the initiative to take apart the front panel of the dryer to clean out "all" the lint that had escaped to the bottom of the dryer. As well as the vent connected to the dryer. Thus preventing any lint from igniting and causing dryer fire. A screwdriver and a vacuum cleaner did the job. Thanks to the videos.
