The previous owner of the refrigerator called a service company to repair and they changed the control board and both thermistors. The problem remained, so the owner got a new appliance and gave me this one. When I checked the thermistors I noticed they did not match the original manufacturer's part, so I ordered two thermistors from AppliancePartsPros.com and replaced them both. Both freezer and fresh food sections working fine now. I did an internet search and found a video that shows how to do the repair. The freezer was a little more work because my drawer does not come off the rails, so I had to take the door off the rails using the 4 screws on the frame. Otherwise it was easy to cut and splice the wires and reassemble.
