I suspected the defrost timer because the fan quit running. Ordered timer, thermostat and run capacitor because the freezer is 20 years old. Installed parts, problem solved. No new freezers available because of COVID virus. I would have replaced it but the repair only cost about $90 so I saved over $800 by repairing this old Kenmore made by Frigidaire.
