I tried cleaning the fan blades first then when it didn't work, I ordered a new motor. Before the new motor arrived I watched a couple repair videos that where pretty accurate. When the motor arrived I noticed that the new motor screw holes are not threaded, so I used the motor mount screws to pre-tap the new motor before installing it back into the fridge motor mount. Due to the tight space, this allowed for simpler installation of the mount screws by not having to apply sideways pressure in a small space to get the screws to bite into the new motor. Total time was about 30 minutes. I had already vacuumed out the bottom and coils.
